Dear former Player, Parent, or Community Supporter,  

First of all, I hope this letter finds you doing well.  I’m writing to let you know of some changes in our program and of an opportunity to showcase your support for it.

As for changes in the program, I have recently taken over as Head Coach here at Brookwood and I’m extremely exited about the opportunity the administration has awarded me.  Coach Doug Jones has left Brookwood to take over a new program at Mill Creek High School.  Coach Jones made a decision to move closer to his family and is doing quite well.  I know there will be some growing pains at first, but as we all know, he will be on top very soon.

As for our program, I am very excited about the upcoming year.  I have waited and passed on a couple of other opportunities in order to take over a program I have loved for years.  We have made several changes to our facilities in the last few years and have continued that practice this year. We now have in-place a brick wall outlining home plate and a net taking the place of the old wire fence backstop.  The new backstop is 21 feet closer to home plate and will create an exciting atmosphere on the field for our players.  We have also installed 170 stadium-style chair back seats.  With the addition of the seats and backstop I believe we have continued to build on one of the finest facilities in the state and southeast.  The recognition that our program and facilities have received over the years is a true testament to the tremendous support of our community.

With that said, I want to give you an opportunity to continue or to reinstate your support of our program.  We are selling each one of our new seats back to the community.  Each seat will have a nameplate to commemorate the donation made to our program.  I hope this opportunity gives you a chance to give back to such a rewarding program and to also revive your love for this great program just as the opportunity to be Head Coach here at Brookwood is giving me the chance to give back.  I appreciate all you have given to this program and trust that you will continue to support it.  Thank you for your time.  My family and I look forward to seeing you at a ballgame this spring.
